"Ashley is top notch. She is an amazing dancer and the best dance teacher I've ever had. She is a true professional. No drama, encouraging to the most novice of dancers. One of the best things about her teaching is that she gives you instruction on the dance beyond choreography. She doesn't just give you some dance moves and expect you do be able to dance them with anyone at anytime. She explains why and how and lets you experience the style of dance so you can do that dance outside of class and without specific choreography. "It never fails that every time you go to a wedding or anniversary celebration there's always one couple on the dance floor that's cuttin a rug and having the best time doing it. They're the 'cool kids.' My wife Terry and I wanted to be the 'cool kids' too, but had no idea how to get there.
After doing some research into local dance studios and instructors I decided Ashley would be the best fit for us and purchased an intro dance package as a Valentine's day gift for my wife, and from that first lesson we never looked back.
Within a short while we could see our progress and our confidence grew. We began attending the weekly dance parties at the studio where we felt comfortable mixing in with the experienced dancers. We were becoming the 'cool kids' and were enjoying the heck out of it.
Terry and I always enjoyed dancing but never exactly knew what to do. Thanks to Ashley, we now have confidence when we step onto the dance floor, and that's a great feeling. Dancing is just a lot more fun now and gives us a whole new way of connecting as a couple in a way that many others can't.

My wife and I recently finished Ashley’s private coaching program, and all I can say is wow! I was initially reluctant to do this for three reasons, 1. We’d only been married two years and I didn’t think we needed it. 2. I thought it was going to involve a lot of talks about our feelings (not interested). 3. I have two left feet and tbh I thought the dancing part would be embarrassing.
But I eventually gave in. Right away Ashley made us feel so comfortable. It felt like talking with a wise friend who happens to know a lot about love, and actual healthy relationship advice.
Ashley helped us untangle the messy stuff in our relationship. A lot of issues I didn’t even know I was having communicating with my wife showed up when we were learning to dance together but for some reason it was so much easier for me to see where I was going wrong when we approached it from the dance partnership viewpoint. It helped me understand why I was pissing her off so much and I’ve learned how to make some really positive shifts in the way I talk to her.
Now, we've got a clear vision of the kind of marriage we want to build. And the best part is that we know how to make it happen. Leaving each session, we feel like we just had a shot of optimism for our marriage. We feel closer than ever.
